We had an amazing wedding weekend at the Emerson House. I was able to spend the night before the wedding with my bridesmaids and relax that day while getting ready. My husband and I loved every detail you put into our stay. The food, the flowers, the décor…everything was perfect! Thank you so much for making the best day of our lives together even more special. We felt so welcome and comfortable.

We had a great time. Especially you making an exception for Evan to stay. He loved your chocolate cake (so moist!) and the sleeper room (Thibault Suite) is awesome! We will definitely come back again if we’re in town. Thanks for lighting up the (backyard) fireplace for Evan!

Thank you so very much for your hospitality. Emerson House is a hidden treasure. We were fortunate that it was hidden in my cousin Ann’s backyard. You really should get to know them because they sent us to you. We usually stay at their home but I insisted not this time. Your place is so elegant and charming and comfortable. The food was 5 stars!

A surprisingly superb B&B in Beloit! Both breakfasts were thoughtfully planned and well-executed. The end-of-night cake was soft with delicious frosting. Clearly, much consideration has been given to the décor, and it was a real treatr to examine each piece. Our family had a wonderful time catching up with old friends, eating great food (Merrill & Houston, Lucy’s, Bushel and Peck, Farmer’s Market), and attending the inaugural Sip & Stroll. I was driving back home from Madison, it was late and I knew I wouldn’t be able to make it all the way home. What an oasis1810 Emerson House was! After a full day of intense work meetings, it was lovely to be greeted so warmly, left to explore the house with tasty snacks and wine, then enjoy the comfortable room. And breakfast did not disappoint – beautiful and delicious! Too bad I have to get back to work. Best wishes!

Thank you so much for a unique personal B&B experience We enjoyed and will never forget the breakfast you researched and prepared for us that matched the Laura Ingalls Wilder “Little House” theme of our vacation. The “Johnny Cakes” were delicious and such fuss! You even chose the evening dessert – Angel Food Cake – because it was popular in pioneer days. We devoured the gluten-free cherry bread. Even my husband, who usually doesn’t usually like gluten-free food, ate 3 slices. We wish we could have stayed longer. Thanks again.
